ABOUT ME - RICHARD GIBSON - Relief Bar / Cellar
Person
I have been working in Bars,
Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants for over 12 years and have worked in
the food industries longer.
I started at the bottom washing
pots for a living, moving up quickly through the ranks.Aged 18 I took on
a job as a Butcher for 6 months (always looks good on the C.V for
Chefs).
When returning to my beloved
kitchen, I was offered a Bar / Chef position; I was a bit scared to begin
with but with the encouragement of a great boss soon learned the ropes.
And of course, the bar chatter customers love, and sometimes need, after a
hard day or night!
I now work in a Gorgeous
North Yorkshire Pub/Restaurant just outside Boroughbridge, called The Fox And Hounds. It`s
been relatively quiet of late but as we have a very large caravan park in the
village, we have storming summer trade.
We have Bingo, Raffles and many more
activities,as well as Live Acts on every weekend so I'm used to working
with all ages.
All I know is Bars, Pubs and Restaurants so you can be
well assured that when my relief work comes to an end, everything will be as you left it and I always work along
side my employers for a couple of days before they depart as everywhere
is obviously different.
Basic Food Hygiene,NVQ Level 1-2 Chef,BIIAB Level
2-National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders.
As
I am working full time at the moment please contact me and give me
plenty of notice as time will need to be booked!
